Questions, answered

Before you deploy.

Need a technical architecture review? Include it in your appliance request.

01How is the appliance priced?

SecurePhone is $100 per active user each month. That license includes product support and signed updates. Dedicated infrastructure is added at the selected provider's price, while custom development is quoted separately under an approved scope.

02Is the billing and reseller platform included?

Yes. Every appliance includes the SecurePhone Commerce Hub: customer administration, subscriptions, reseller management, top-ups, entitlements, and local licensing.

03Can we use our own SIP carrier?

Yes. Connect a compatible SIP trunk with username/password or trusted-IP authentication, connect Twilio, use SecurePhone-managed trunking, or combine providers for routing and failover.

04Does KeyMail come with the platform?

KeyMail is a first-class appliance module. It can run with the full suite or be licensed with the Commerce Hub as a focused encrypted-mail deployment.

05Do we need nine virtual machines?

No. The appliance is organized into Core, Realtime, and Mail profiles. Small deployments can run all required profiles on one server; larger installations can separate them across three nodes.

06What happens if the appliance loses internet access?

A signed offline lease keeps licensed services operating through a defined grace window. A vendor outage does not instantly disable the appliance, and expiry never erases customer data or encryption keys.

07What is a Secure Phone Server, and where does it run?

A Secure Phone Server is the customer-controlled infrastructure behind your private communications service. Deploy it on a dedicated server, private cloud, or supported VPS. SecurePhone supplies the software, signed updates, licensing, and deployment support.
